Dimapur, 5 December (MTNews): Inter-denomination Spiritual Revival and Blessings Mega Crusade with the theme ‘Arise, Shine… As the glory of the Lord is risen upon you’ (Isaiah 60:1) began at DDSC Stadium on December 5th.
Rev. Zotuo Kiewhuo, Founder Pastor of Koinonia Baptist Church & Principal, Kohima Bible College, was the speaker on the first day of the crusade. He spoke on the theme of the mega crusade based on Isaiah 60:1, “Arise, shine…. And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.”
Emphasizing that Jesus Christ was born unto man and had liberated humanity from all bondages with breakthrough and had given salvation, he declared that the people are now a new and free people in Jesus.
He also delved into the book of Hebrews 12:2, “Looking into Jesus,” where we see the blood and it is forgiveness and healing for his stripped body, and exhorted the gathering to be a good soldier of Christ.
Furthermore, he stated that discipline requires sacrifice and exhorted the congregation to grow spiritually.
During the program, a message through song was presented by Koinonia Baptist Church Choir and the 15th NAP IR Mahilla Band, the finalists of India’s Got Talent (IGT).
While Lanu Aier shared his testimony on how he was ‘Freed from Alcoholism,’ Zavihu Keretsü, Senior Pastor, Crossway Church, offered the offertory prayer.
The program was chaired by Khriezovolie Suokhrie, Chairman, Men’s Fellowship KBC.
It should be mentioned here that the ongoing Mega crusade will continue and run daily at 4:00 pm and will culminate on December 10.
On Wednesday, Samuel Sengupta, Pastor, Atmik Jeevan Church, Bagdora, will be the speaker.
Meanwhile, the Organizing Committee extends an invitation and welcomes the citizens of Dimapur and neighboring districts to join this event.
