An orientation programme was organised at Jubilee Memorial College by the Career Counselling Cell in collaboration with IQAC, with Chillibreeze as the host, at the JMC Hall. Conducted as a webinar by the Chillibreeze team, the session aimed to provide students with insights into employment opportunities and career development.
The programme began with an introductory session outlining various job markets and emphasising that every sector ultimately serves the community. It also highlighted the realities of the current job landscape and the importance of career preparedness.
The team introduced Chillibreeze as a Northeast-based professional services company engaged in PowerPoint design, formatting and presentation services for global clients such as Microsoft and PepsiCo. They explained how rough drafts are transformed into polished, high-quality presentations, with employees working as presentation designers and document specialists for international clients.
The session further outlined the company’s service-oriented structure, covering departments such as administration, human resources, marketing, finance, sales, IT and training. Emphasis was placed on the training and probation period, focusing on skill development, professional learning and continuous self-improvement.
The team also highlighted employee benefits, including competitive starting salaries for freshers, bonuses, gratuity, health insurance and leave encashment, along with opportunities for higher education and career growth. They noted that the company prioritises skills and character over specific academic degrees.
The programme concluded with students gaining a clearer understanding of career opportunities, workplace culture and the skills required for professional success.
