The Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Mokokchung held the Pipping Ceremony and Felicitation for the participants of the All India Forest Sports Meet (AIFSM) 2024 at its office in Sungkomen ward, Mokokchung. This event celebrated local forest staff and highlighted Bendanginla’s achievement in winning a bronze medal in badminton at the sports meet in Chhattisgarh, which featured participants from 44 states and institutions.
The program was led by Moamongba, ACF. Following an opening prayer by Chubanaro, Accountant, Moa Imchen, Head Accountant, welcomed everyone. He expressed pride in the participants’ accomplishments and congratulated all the promotees.
Dr Sentitula, IFS, DFO Mokokchung, delivered a speech encouraging everyone to continue striving for success in both sports and their work. Participants Bendanginla and Imchalemba shared their experiences from the AIFSM, inspiring the audience with stories of hard work and determination.
The pipping ceremony, conducted by Sashilemla, Range Officer, Mokokchung, honored the dedication of the forest field staff and officers. The ceremony also recognized the promotion of ministerial staff, showcasing the growth and commitment within the department.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Alemwapang Imchen, DCF, who expressed appreciation to all who made the day possible. This ceremony not only celebrated individual achievements but also highlighted the teamwork and dedication within the forest fraternity.
