Mokokchung welcomed the opening of its second Futsal Turf, a state-of-the-art facility designed to cater to the growing demand for football and futsal enthusiasts starting today. Owned by local entrepreneur Liyanglen Imti Imchen, the turf offers an expansive play area measuring 120 feet by 80 feet, meeting the official FIFA-approved size for futsal pitches.
One of the key highlights of this new Futsal Turf is its backdrop with beautiful views of the mountains, complemented by meticulously laid grass imported all the way from Vietnam. Imchen’s commitment to providing the best playing surface ensures that athletes can enjoy a top-quality experience on the field.
The turf area will also include designated locker rooms and shower facilities for both teams.
Imchen, the owner of the Futsal Turf as well as Asameya Adventures, expressed his deep-rooted belief in the power of sports and its ability to positively influence the youth of Mokokchung. He aims to provide a platform where young individuals can spend their time honing their skills while simultaneously engaging in a healthy and physically active lifestyle.
