One of the key highlights of this new Futsal Turf is its backdrop with beautiful views of the mountains, complemented by meticulously laid grass imported all the way from Vietnam. Imchen’s commitment to providing the best playing surface ensures that athletes can enjoy a top-quality experience on the field.

The turf area will also include designated locker rooms and shower facilities for both teams.

Imchen, the owner of the Futsal Turf as well as Asameya Adventures, expressed his deep-rooted belief in the power of sports and its ability to positively influence the youth of Mokokchung. He aims to provide a platform where young individuals can spend their time honing their skills while simultaneously engaging in a healthy and physically active lifestyle. By offering a dedicated space for football enthusiasts, Imchen hopes to divert the energy of the youth towards productive endeavors, rather than engaging in misdemeanors or unhealthy activities.

The Futsal Turf is conveniently located on the outskirts of the town in Yimyu Ward near Khensa village gate, making it easily accessible to both local residents and visitors.

The Futsal Turf has established a reasonable pricing structure. Players can enjoy an hour of exhilarating gameplay for an hourly sum of 1000 INR.

With the opening of the new Futsal Turf, Mokokchung has taken a significant step forward in promoting sports, fitness, and the overall well-being of its youth. The facility is expected to serve as a hub for fostering talent, nurturing passion, and creating opportunities for young footballers to thrive and fulfill their potential.

The turf was inaugurated with a dedicatory prayer by Rev. Sentimeren Jamir, Associate Pastor, MTBA Thursday evening.
