The International Nurses’ Day, under the theme “Our Nurses. Our Future – Caring for Nurses Strengthens Economies,” was held at the Multi-Purpose Hall, School of Nursing, IMDH, Mokokchung, on 12th May 2025.


Addressing the occasion, the Theme Speaker, Principal of the School of Nursing, IMDH, T. Temsusenla Aier, called upon all nurses to reaffirm their dedication to the noble profession, maintaining that nurses are the backbone of all healthcare institutions. She also highlighted the importance of nurses’ mental and physical health, as well as the need for a safe working environment.

Shilula Imchen, Associate Pastor for Women at MTBA, exhorted that professions like nursing closely resemble the ministry of Jesus and emphasized the importance of incorporating healing touch therapy as a nurse.
