MLA Lima Onen inaugurated the Kongkhum Range Road zero point, connecting Mokokchung and Tuensang, on 1st February 2025 at Warakok (Bhumji River).

Speaking on the occasion, Lima Onen expressed appreciation for the Alisopur village council for allowing the road to pass through their land, fulfilling the dream of the people and benefiting the Alisopur villagers by connecting them to other districts economically.

He also encouraged the gathering to avoid divisions based on villages, tribes, and dialects, emphasizing the importance of unity and oneness in moving forward with inclusive development. “It is not important to exist in isolation, but to uphold brotherhood and co-existence for a brighter future,” he added.

NH Chingmak, GB of Yonyu village; Hongmong, Head GB of Alisopur village; and Thungpang Chongshen, Executive Engineer (R&B), Tuensang, also delivered short speeches at the program.
