The Naga National Council (NNC) and the Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) will observe the 80th Nagaland Independence Day on August 14 at Oking, Kohima.
According to an information issued by Yirei Lungleng, Rali Wali Kilonser of the Federal Government of Nagaland, the programme will begin at 10 am.
The NNC and FGN have invited the public to attend the observance and called upon all regions, sub-regions, communities, villages, churches and organisations to celebrate the occasion.
The statement said, “All are cordially invited to participate on the occasion of our Nation.”
It further appealed to all regions, sub-regions, communities, villages, churches and organisations to “kindly celebrate this historic day of our Nation.”
