Kohima, 19 June (MTNews): The NPF Central Youth Wing has strongly condemned the recent act of vandalism targeting the ANTA Headquarters Office in Kohima. The incident occurred on the evening of June 17, at approximately 6 PM, when unidentified miscreants perpetrated the attack.
Expressing their dismay, the Central Youth Wing has specifically highlighted the life-threatening situation faced by Meyieho Hibo, the General Secretary of ANTA and also the Secretary of the Central Youth Wing.
“His life was threatened at gunpoint by the miscreants causing him mental trauma and creating fear psychosis,” the youth wing added.
Stating that ANTA is a prominent social service organization dedicated to the welfare of the taxi services and its people, the NPF Central Youth Wing emphasized that such actions deserve condemnation from all sections of society. It also strongly urged upon the law enforcing agencies to immediately book the culprits and initiate action as per the law of the land.
