Kohima, 28 February (MTNews): The Executive body of the Naga People’s Front (NPF), Kohima Division, convened for a consultative meeting on 28 February 2024 at the NPF Central Office in Kohima, where a series of resolutions were unanimously adopted.
The Kohima Division affirmed its support for the leadership of President Apong Pongener and Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu, Leader of the NPF Legislature Party. Members of the Kohima Division pledged their full support to the NPF leadership and expressed confidence in their decision-making abilities and wisdom for the upcoming Lok Sabha election 2024.
The Kohima Division announced that it will actively start gearing up for the preparedness of the coming Municipal Election and asserted to field candidates to the Kohima Municipal Council as many as it can.
Expressing discontent, the Kohima Division lamented the Central Government’s decision to scrap the Free Movement Regime (FMR). They urged the Government of India to hear the cry of the people and immediately revoke its decision.
Reiterating its unwavering support, the Kohima Division reaffirmed its loyalty to the NPF and vowed to actively work for the welfare and interests of the people, further cementing its commitment to the party’s objectives.
