Kohima, 28 February (MTNews): During the Motion of Thanks to the Governor’s speech, Chief Minister Rio reiterated the government’s dedication to ensuring equitable distribution of resources across all districts and constituencies in the state.
Responding to MLA Kuzholuzo Nienu’s concerns regarding the equitable distribution of resources in the districts and all the constituencies, the Chief Minister said the Government is “committed to equitable development and spreading resources equally in every part of the State.”
He mentioned that all their plans and programs are designed to ensure that every area or region’s needs are addressed.
Further, for backward regions or areas, he said the government strives to come up with even more resources and support so that they can catch up with the others as soon as possible. “A case in point is the additional programs being carried out in the backward areas of the State,” he added.
