Kohima, August 11 (MTNews): The Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) has on Thursday released the official logo of the Nagaland Olympic & Paralympic Games 2022, scheduled to be held from August 22 to 27.

 

There will be 11 disciplines for the Games: Archery, Athletics, Boxing, Badminton, Basketball, Football, Lawn Tennis, Shooting, Table Tennis, Taekwondo and Wushu.
Men’s Football will commence from August 17. The remaining disciplines will start from August 22 and conclude on August 27. The opening ceremony will be on August 22.

 

The last date for registration is August 13. So far more than 1500 athletes, officials and organizers have registered for the games, NOA informed.

 

NOA said that there will be three city venues for the Games. Badminton will be played in Longleng, while Dimapur will host Lawn tennis, Shooting and Paralympic disciplines. Archery, Athletics, Basketball, Boxing, Football, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, and Wushu will be played in Kohima.
