The Department of Mass Communication, Patkai Christian College (PCC), organized the inaugural program of its fourth edition of the 3-Day Campus Film Festival 4.0, 2024 on October 28 at the Bundrock Auditorium, PCC.

Principal of PCC, Dr. Thepfuvilie Pierü, delivered an exhortation to inspire and set the tone for the festival.
‘The success of any group project or programme depends largely on the Teamwork of the group members’, he said, adding the students of Mass Communication have always exhibited that.
‘This 3-day film festival will once again add spice to our vibrant campus community life. The campus film festival is gradually improving and getting better each year. According to my personal observation, this can be attributed mainly to the excellent team spirit and teamwork of the mass communication department, apart from other contributing factors.’, he added.
Wano Nangmung Yanlem, one of the festival directors, stated, “Every film you’ll see here reflects a unique perspective of a director’s imagination.”
“The first film festival was held in 2019 by our seniors, and now we continue this as a legacy,” she added.
Ms. Yapangnaro Longkumer, President of the Film Association of Nagaland (FAN), addressed the audience as the guest of honor.
Addressing to the young filmmakers, she said, ‘No two stories will be the same, no two characters will be the same, no two scenarios will be the same. Never think that your ideas are stale or that someone has already thought of it. Because the telling of the tale is solely your idea. How much you work on it, will only develop the story. So never underestimate an idea.’
‘It is good to see how the department has come together to set up this film festival.
I know you guys have worked really hard and your efforts are there for all to see.’
