Mokokchung, 26 April (MTNews): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be dedicating a total of 91 new 100W FM Transmitters across the country on 28 April from New Delhi at 11:00 AM. Of the 91 transmitters, two 100W FM transmitters in Mon and Tuensang district will be inaugurated, AIR Kohima informed through a press release.
“We are hoping that with the inaugural of these 100W FM transmitters, our people residing in and around within the coverage area of Mon and Tuensang will be covered with AIR FM signals,” Deputy Director General (Engineering) and Cluster Head All India Radio Nagaland, KK Rengma said.
“We look forward to the active participation and support from the public to make Community Radio Station (CRS) AIR Mon and Tuensang to achieve its goal of building an informed society,” Rengma added.
