Neiphiu Rio called on Nirmala Sitharaman in New Delhi on Thursday. Rio was accompanied by Deputy Chief Ministers T R Zeliang and Y Patton, along with Achumbemo Kikon and others.
Taking to social media, Rio stated that the delegation apprised the Union Finance Minister of Nagaland’s financial status and the continued support required for the state’s development priorities.
Rio and his delegation also met Union Home Minister Amit Shah during their visit to the national capital.
