As part of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative, Sankalp – District Hub for Empowerment of Women in Phek district, visited the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Chozuba on Tuesday, November 26. The team distributed gifts to newborns at the health facility, offering encouragement to young families.
The visit reflects Sankalp’s commitment to promoting the welfare of women and children, particularly in rural areas. Health officials at CHC Chozuba welcomed the gesture, emphasizing the importance of community-driven efforts to improve maternal and child health.
Sankalp (Skills Acquisition and Knowledge Awareness for Livelihood) is a program under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), aimed at decentralized planning and quality improvement. It is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme, implemented in collaboration with the World Bank.
