The National People’s Youth Front (NPYF), Nagaland State, along with its entire rank and file, stands in unwavering solidarity with the people of Manipur and wholeheartedly supports the symbolic blackout and candlelight observance called by NPYF Manipur.
In moments of unspeakable tragedy, our differences must give way to our shared humanity. The brutal killings and loss of innocent lives have left families shattered and communities grieving. As fellow citizens of the Northeast, we mourn alongside the bereaved families and extend our deepest condolences to all those affected by this senseless violence.
We believe that every human life is sacred, and no cause can ever justify the taking of innocent lives. The pain being endured by the families of the victims is not theirs alone—it is a collective wound upon the conscience of our region and our nation.
NPYF Nagaland joins the call for justice and urges the State and Union Governments, as well as all concerned agencies, to ensure a thorough, impartial, and time-bound investigation so that every individual responsible—regardless of affiliation, status, or influence—is brought before the law. Accountability is essential not only for justice but also for restoring public trust and lasting peace.
We further appeal to the youth of Nagaland and the wider Northeast to stand united against violence, hatred, and division. Let us reaffirm our commitment to peace, human dignity, and the rule of law.
As candles are lit across Manipur in remembrance and solidarity, we too bow our heads in prayer for the departed souls, strength for the grieving families, and healing for a land that has suffered far too much.
Together, we mourn. Together, we stand for justice. Together, we stand with Manipur.
