The President of the United Sangtam Students’ Conference (USSC) paid a courtesy visit to the District Administration of Kiphire to advocate for collaborative efforts aimed at improving the education sector in the district.

During the meeting, the President urged the district administration to work jointly with stakeholders to enhance educational standards across Kiphire.

Highlighting key infrastructure gaps, he expressed concern over the non-functional status of the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) and the Polytechnic Institute, and appealed to the administration to explore measures to make the institutions operational.

The USSC President also called for the expedited construction of the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) and the Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) in Kiphire, stressing the need to ensure that students can benefit from these institutions without further delay.
