The Niki Sumi led NSCN/GPRN through its MIB on Monday has said that it believes that only when all the civil society organizations unite under one single umbrella can the Naga Political Groups unite under one Naga voice culminating in the people’s aspiration of peace and lasting political solution. “Unity is key to the attainment of Naga people’s aspiration,” it added.
The group’s statement read that it will be prudent on the part of the facilitators and stakeholders to avoid “mixed and contradictory statements” as “talking in different tongues breeds only pandemonium and apprehension amongst us.”

Seeking clarity on some pertinent points, it asked if the GoI has “officially and publicly laid out Naga solution” or we are twisting narratives as per our own perspectives. It also asked which accord- Framework Agreement or the Agreed Position – is to be implemented.

It also asked if the GoI is going to give Framework Agreement to the NSCN (IM) and Agreed Position to the NNPGs separately, then “if so, NSCN/GPRN being the third entity also be given a separate solution?”
