Mokokchung, October 28 (MTNews): The 10th QMHSS Silver Jubilee Memorial Basketball Tournament final match between hosts Queen Mary Higher Secondary School Mokokchung and 2nd NAP Higher Secondary School, Alichen is scheduled to be played on October 29 at 9:00 AM.
As part of the Queen Mary HSS Silver Jubilee celebration, the Silver Jubilee Memorial Basketball Tournament was first held in 2004 where teams from various schools of the district were invited to participate.
The school reinstated its Memorial Basketball Tournament this year after a seven-year hiatus, and it kicked off on Friday with Sentinenla, District Education Officer, Mokokchung attending as the chief guest.
The tournament this year was attended by four schools: Christian Residential Higher Secondary School (CRHSS), Jubilee Memorial Higher Secondary School (JMS), 2nd NAP Higher Secondary School, and Queen Mary Higher Secondary School Mokokchung.
The host QMHSS and NAP HSS emerged as the top two finalists after a tough league competition between the four schools, with each team displaying great talents and sportsmanship.
