The Nagaland Legislative Assembly’s Committee on Public Undertakings visited Wazeho on September 17 and 18 to review the Mini Cement Plant and the Decorative and Dimensional Stone Plant.
The team, led by MLA Dr. Sukhato A. Sema, included MLA Dr. Neisatuo Mero, Advisor Z. Nyusietho Nyuthe, and other officials. At the 150 TPD Mini Cement Plant, the team was informed that repair of old machinery has been completed but trial production is delayed due to weather conditions.
The committee also inspected the Decorative and Dimensional Stone Plant, where interlocking and hollow bricks are being manufactured, and witnessed a demonstration of the process.
Expressing satisfaction with the progress, the committee acknowledged the efforts of the department in reviving the plants and emphasised the importance of timely production.
