Dimapur, 20 February (MTNews): A one-day research methodology workshop on “Qualitative & Quantitative Research” was organized by the Research & Publication Committee of C-Edge College, Chumoukedima on 19 February 2024. The resource persons were Dr Achanger (Associate Professor & Head, Department of Political Science, SJU) and Dr Moameren (Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science, SJU).
The workshop comprised two sessions. In the first session, Dr Achanger delivered an introduction to research and the steps involved, while the second session, focusing on Research Proposal, was conducted by Dr Moameren, followed by a practical session by Dr Achanger. The college expresses deep gratitude to the resource persons for their meaningful contribution, which has benefitted all the participants.
The session was chaired by Ms Lamyile Meru, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology; and Ms Khozholu Tsutso, Assistant Professor, Department of History invoked God’s presence. Dr Chubatola Aier, Principal of C-Edge College, delivered the welcome speech, reflecting on the need for such workshops in the present day for aspirant students willing to pursue research and expand their knowledge. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr Shiva Prasad Dey, Convenor of the Research & Publication Committee.
