Mokokchung, February 25 (MTNews): The batch mates of Late Imkongjeba Kichu from the Class of 2005, Queen Mary School, Mokokchung while condemning the cold blooded murder of their friend expressed shock and called the incident barbaric.

 

In a condemnation note, class of 2005 QMS called the act not only “an act of cowardice” but “unlawful and inhumane.” They also called the senseless act of killing “an outright violation of human rights and a sign of barbarism.”

 

“Our dear friend was a very responsible citizen who continuously strived and worked for the welfare and betterment of our community and society at large,” they added.
Stating that they are keeping faith with the authorities and law enforcing agencies, the Class of 2005 said that they will stand in unflinching solidarity with the family of the victim and the people of Chungtia in demanding justice to be delivered at the earliest in accordance with law.

 

“We will not withdraw our stand until justice is served for the victim. We owe it to his memory to fight for a more just, free and peaceful world,” they added and extended their deepest condolences to the bereaved family.
