Mokokchung, 29 April (MTNews): The Confederation of Nagaland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CNCCI) have announced the end of the indefinite shutter down across Nagaland. This decision comes following an official communiqué from the DCCI, stating that the demands presented by the DCCI to the government have been ‘satisfactorily met’.

In a press release issued today, the CNCCI expressed satisfaction with the outcome upon closer examination.

Furthermore, the CNCCI has urged the state government to implement its decision across Nagaland. The organization highlighted the adverse effects of unabated multiple taxation, fines, and extortion, which impact the entire state. This call for action comes after the District Chambers collectively stood together in solidarity over the past few days.

The CNCCI further conveyed their sincere gratitude to the office and the team of the District chambers for the cooperation which, according to them, has not only shown to the Nagas the strength of the business community but was the main reason for the successful outcome of the demand against multiple taxation, fines and extortion.
