Mokokchung, 21 May (MTNews): Common University Entrance Test (Under Graduate)- CUET(UG) 2023 has begun across the country from Sunday.

 

CUET is being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in Computer Based Test Mode for about 14,99,000 candidates at various Examination Centers located in 295 cities across India.

 

The CUET admit card for exams scheduled from 21 to 24 May 2023 has already been issued by NTA on its official website.

 

Applicants can download their CUET UG admit card using the application number and date of birth.

 

CUET 2023 has been postponed to the 29th of May in Manipur due to the law and order situation there. The National Testing Agency also decided to conduct the Entrance Test in Jammu and Kashmir from the 26th of May onwards due to the phenomenal increase in the number of registered candidates as compared to last year.

 

Meanwhile, it may be noted here that the Central government has exempted universities of the North East region from CUET 2023. The Union Education Ministry has exempted the Central Universities of NE region, namely Sikkim University and Rajiv Gandhi University, Manipur University, Assam University, Tezpur University, Nagaland University, Tripura University, Mizoram University, NEHU, and HNBGU Uttarakhand from CUET 2023.
