Mokokchung, 16 May (MTNews): National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has issued notices to the Centre, States and Union Territories over the reported increase of Child Sexual Abuse Material on social media in the country.

It has taken suo motu cognizance of a media report that the circulation of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) has increased from 250 to 300 percent on social media in the country. The Commission has sought a detailed report in the matter within six weeks. It said that the CSAM contents are reportedly from foreign soil, and the Indian Investigation Agencies have not come across any Indian-made CSAM so far. NHRC has observed that the contents of the media report, if true, amount to a violation of human rights relating to the life, liberty, and dignity of citizens, and protection of the young children from the danger of sexual abuse on social media.

  1. Hi, i read your blog occasionally and i own a similar one and i was just wondering if you get a lot of spam responses? If so how do you prevent it, any plugin or anything you can advise? I get so much lately it’s driving me insane so any assistance is very much appreciated.

  2. Hey there would you mind stating which blog platform you’re working with? I’m looking to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a tough time selecting between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something completely unique. P.S My apologies for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
