Mokokchung: One-Week Air Rifle and Air Pistol Shooting Training Concludes with Championship

Mokokchung, 24 June (MTNews): Fazl Ali College (FAC) in collaboration with the Ladybird School Shooting Academy, Khelo India Centre, successfully concluded a one-week training program on 10M Air Rifle and Air Pistol shooting. The event culminated with a shooting championship among the participants, showcasing their newly acquired skills and talent.

The training camp, held from 19 – 24 June was specifically designed to promote capacity building and skill development among the students. With the joint efforts of FAC and the Ladybird School Shooting Academy, participants had the opportunity to engage in intensive training sessions to hone their shooting abilities.

As the one-week training program reached its conclusion, a valedictory program was held to recognize the participants’ achievements. Lipokmeren, Coach at the Ladybird School Shooting Academy, felicitated the participants and announced the results of the shooting championship. The event was graced by a short speech delivered by Abeniuo J Ashao, EAC Mokokchung.

The weeklong Air Rifle and Air Pistol Shooting Training program was sponsored by Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Mokokchung.

Lanuakum, Longpokmeren and Amongba won the top three honors in the 10 Metre Air Rifle Men Individual category. Talinungla, Limalemla Jamir and Imnatola Longchar won the top three honors in the 10 Metre Air Rifle Women Individual. Aolemba and Alemnungdok Pongen were the winner and runner-up in the 10 Metre Air Pistol Men Individual category.
