Mokokchung, 1 December (MTNews): Five shooters from the Nagaland Rifle Association successfully participated at the 66th National Shooting Championship Competitions held from November 15 to December 9, 2023 at the Dr Karni Singh Shooting Ranges in New Delhi for Rifle Events and the MP State Shooting Academy in Bhopal for Pistol Events.

Among the notable achievements, Neizo Belho secured a place in the Selection Trial 2024 in the 10 Metre Air Pistol Men Individual category, with a score of 571. Meanwhile, Imnanungsang Tzudir has qualified as Renowned Shot in the 10 Metre Air Pistol Sub-Youth Men Individual category with a score of 535. Kimatsung Jamir also qualified as Renowned Shot in the 50 Metre Peep Sight Rifle Prone Men Individual category, achieving a score of 599.

Additionally, Yimyakumla qualified as Renowned Shot in the 10 Metre Air Rifle Sub-Youth Women Individual category, securing a score of 595.5 while Lanu Rongsenkaba Jamir demonstrated proficiency with a score of 536 in the 10 Metre Air Pistol Master Men Individual category.
