The Nagaland University Research Scholars’ Forum (NURSF), Kohima Campus, has announced a special open competition in celebration of World Environment Day 2025. With the goal of promoting environmental awareness and encouraging individual action, the forum invites everyone to participate for a chance to win cash prizes.
To enter, participants must plant a tree and photograph themselves during the planting process, record a short video explaining the name of the plant and the importance of tree plantation, and submit their photo and video via WhatsApp to 7005498030 on June 5th or 6th, 2025.
Submitted videos and photos will be published on NURSF Kohima Campus’s official social media platforms by June 10th. The contest concludes on June 20th, with winners announced on June 25th.
Winners will be determined based on the number of likes, shares, and views their submissions receive on the forum’s official social media platforms. The competition is open to all, regardless of age or background, with no language barrier; participants are free to express themselves in their preferred language.
NURSF stated that the competition is aimed at making a difference during this World Environment Day.
