TRUISM released their debut music album titled ‘Out of His Great Love’ (A collective testimony of the amazing joy we have in our God) on Tuesday at Platinum Hall, NBCC Bayavü Hill, Kohima.

The album was released by Rev. Dr. Zelhou Keyho, General Secretary, NBCC.

An update from the organizers informed that TRUISM is a group of five ladies – Vikielienuo Solo, Nourhengunuo Zatsu, Khriekesonuo Liezietsu, Keviphrünuo Khezhie and Thejasenuo Kire and their story goes back to singing together in Sunday School and for the past 14 years.

Like many words, Truism has a lot of alternate meanings but one meaning of Truism is “with prompt and passion” which they feel is befitting for the group because they sing with great zeal for the Lord, the update said.
It said that most of the songs that they sing are about enlightening and strengthening one’s faith in God, being reminded of his love and encouraged by his grace.

The group also stated, “We have a vision for mission; to musically reach out to more people. We all have times when the world seems to be pressing down on us and we hope to bring comfort, share God’s love and blessings through our music.”

On the occasion, Vipralhou Kesiezie, Managing Board Chairman, Khedi Baptist Church delivered a speech, while TRUISM Story was retold by Neitseizonuo Liezietsu. Vikielienuo Solo spoke about the making of the album and delivered the vote of thanks.

The album was produced by Vipralhou Kesiezie, music by Neilhoumenuo Kesiezie, Thejasezo Belho and Alfred Besü, recorded & mixed at Clef Ensemble, Kohima, Photography and videography by San Productions, Graphics by Kekuosetuo Sachü and team Manager Neitseizonuo Liezietsu.
