Mokokchung, 28 September (MTNews): Abu Metha, the Advisor to the CM of Nagaland and Chairman of Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN), has unveiled an upcoming Floriculture Scheme designed to benefit flower growers in the state. CM Neiphiu Rio will inaugurate this scheme on 30 September.
Speaking to the media in Kohima today, Metha explained that the initiative has received strong support from the CM and has been developed in collaboration with esteemed financial institutions such as NorthEast Small Finance, Nagaland Rural Bank, and Bank of Baroda.
Metha further disclosed that IDAN is currently in the process of identifying eligible flower growers in the state who will be granted loans as part of this program. Under this specialized scheme, flower growers can access loans with significantly reduced interest rates, without the need for collateral, and enjoy extended repayment moratoriums.
