The office of the Rengma Selo Zi (RSZ) was inaugurated today at its district headquarters in Tseminyu, below SBI, Ward-5.
Deputy Commissioner Japheth Woch, NCS, graced the occasion as the special guest. In his address, he lauded RSZ for its proactive role in promoting the Rengma community, especially the youth, stating, “Youth are the strength of today and hope of tomorrow.”
He also appreciated RSZ’s commitment to the “Drug-Free District” initiative and assured his full support. He urged the public to extend cooperation for smooth governance and the district’s development.
RSZ President Kegwayhun Tep delivered the welcome address and highlighted the organization’s ongoing activities.
The event was attended by members of the Rengma Mothers’ Association, Rengma Students’ Union, senior RSZ members, well-wishers, and community leaders.
